Joseph Scilovati - Owner

As the founder of J.P.S. Construction it was Joe Scilovati who had the initiative and vision of developing a company that would focus on the rehabilitation of masonry structures. Originally the company focused its efforts in building envelope restoration and then found a niche in the repointing and repair of stone bridge piers and abutments. Over the next two decades, through hard work and dedication, Joe had grown and evolved the company to where it currently is today. An area leader in bridge and concrete structure maintenance as well as its continued presence in the restoration field. With over 50 years of experience and construction knowledge, Joe, is still an integral part of the team and aids in the transition on the company forward onto the next generation.

As the acting President and head of operations for J.P.S. Construction, Joe Serluco, is responsible for all aspects of the business on both field and administrative levels. Following in the footsteps of Joe Scilovati, his grandfather and company founder, Joe has developed the same hands on approach to running the business and shares in the vision of taking J.P.S. Construction to the next level. Climbing the ladder within the company to his current position Joe has developed an understanding for all facets of the business and prides himself on continuing this family owned operation.


nick kopf - project manager/estimator

As the Project Manager/Estimator for J.P.S. Construction, Nick, is the anchor of our estimating team as well as handles all aspects of contract dealings with owners and architects/engineers. He is a graduate of Drexel University where he played baseball and earned a degree in Business and Engineering. As the newest addition to the J.P.S. team he brings with him a young, enthusiastic, and driven attitude to his position. His high level computer skills and proficient abilities with bidding software make him a crucial part of our office staff. 


Charlene collins - office manager

As the Office Manager for J.P.S. Construction, Charlene, is responsible for all aspects of payroll, accounting, and secretarial duties. She handles payroll/certified payroll reports, accounts payable/receivable, as well as manages health care benefits and retirement plan needs for all employees. 


John Vikingstad - Superintendent

As the Superintendent for J.P.S. Construction, John, is responsible for the coordination and execution of field operations for all projects. He not only deals directly with the foreman and workers on each crew, but his responsibilities also include coordination with onsite inspectors, subcontractors, consultants, engineers, and owners representatives. He has over 30 years of construction experience in various fields and his work ethic and pride in quality are evident on all projects he is involved with.
